To celebrate our 11 th Annual Ride for EB event, we are asking all of YOU to help us
grow this family-friendly event across Canada!

Three Ways to Participate/Support:

Participate no matter where you live! Create your own virtual fundraising page in Support of DEBRA Canada's Ride for EB. Join our #RideforEB team! When you register as a “virtual cyclist,” you can cycle any distance you choose in any location across the country. You can share your fundraising page link with your network of family, friends and colleagues. Let them know you are raising funds in support of Canadian families affected by Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB).

1. VIRTUAL CYCLIST OPTION (June – September, 2026)

We can't wait to hear from all of you to find out where you will be riding and what distance you will be choosing. Be sure to explain on your fundraising page why or who you are cycling for! Why not get the whole family outdoors enjoying a family bike ride in support of Canadian families affected by Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB).

Please note: all DEBRA supporters who create a Ride for EB fundraising page will receive cycling bibs and participation gifts. Please email: ehoyos@debracanada.org to notify us of your virtual ride so we can mail out your participant package.

2. IN-PERSON EVENT:

Attend in person and participate in Brampton, ON at Bike the Creek – taking place on June 13, 2026. DEBRA Canada will be a Platinum Sponsor at this event, to raise awareness for Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) at our tents/booths.

We also encourage you to create a fundraising page and collect a minimum of $150 in donations. Please note: we will provide all our fundraisers with a special thank you gift / goodie bag which you can pick up at the DEBRA tent!

Share your Ride for EB fundraising page and spread awareness on your social media channels with the hashtags #RideforEB, #BiketheCreek, #EBAwareness, #EpidermolysisBullosa

New In-Person Venue and Date!!!

June 13, 2026 at Bike the Creek in Brampton, Ontario (In-Person Ride for EB)
Event Details:

On June 13, 2026, we are partnering with Bike the Creek! Established in 2014, the event is planned with partners, BikeBrampton, Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA), Peel Region, City of Brampton, City of Mississauga and the Town of Caledon. This event attracts over 1000 cycling enthusiasts and engages over 50 volunteers from the community.

This is a family-friendly ride with many route options available.

Date: Saturday, June 13, 2026
Where: Jim Archdekin Recreation Centre
Located at: 292 Conestoga Dr. Brampton, ON
Time: Staggered Start - 1 p.m. (Please note your start time will be provided once you register for your preferred route - 6km, 15 km, 25 km, 50 km, 65km, and 68 km route options available).

Event Reminders:

• Have your bike tuned up before arriving.
• Bike valet will be available on-site.
• Bring a refillable water bottle.
• Complimentary BBQ lunch is available first come, first served after
  your ride.
• BBQ service runs from 11:15 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
• Finale program begins at 12:00 p.m.
• Raffle prize draw will follow the finale program.
